Recently the spokesperson of PepsiCo confirmed about the news of Salman Khan signing up as a new brand ambassador of Pepsi. The brand has its summer 2020 campaign which will be on Salman’s upcoming action movie ‘Dabangg 3’ though it isn’t clear about the financials of the deal but apparently it is a two year deal which is estimated to be of 15 crore as said my industry officials. Rohit Ohri, the chairman of ad agency stated that it was a surprising move on Pepsi’s part.
He also said that ‘how this works out will depend on how the advertising uses Salman along with Pepsi irreverence.The superstar of Bollywood, Salman Khan is one of the most expensive celebrity as a brand endorser. Some of his brands include Emami edible oil, Somany Ceramics,etc. He was also the ambassador for Thumbs Up until three years back.
